As the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, the University of Denver continues to enact its vision of "a great private university dedicated to the public good." We embrace, then, the responsibility—and the opportunity—afforded by the reaccreditation process to articulate our mission, achievements, and plans. During the past decade, the University of Denver has made sweeping changes to enhance its academic programs. These investments in our students, faculty, and curriculum have been reinforced by ambitious improvements in the university's infrastructure. From its modest beginnings nearly 150 years ago, the university’s scope has expanded regionally, nationally, and internationally. The documents in this site, the efforts of dozens of contributors, tell our past, articulate our present, and chart our future.
