Counterpoints

Counterpoints was started in the Spring of 2011 as a means of bringing together top experts in specific policy areas with Denver's community and University of Denver students and alumni. The events are held twice a year - in the spring and fall - and topics range from school reform to immigration and more. Honorable Richard Lamm, three-term Governor of Colorado, moderates a panel of experts with varying viewpoints on the topic.

Counterpoints events are an hour and a half panel discussion that includes questions from the audience. A reception follows most events allowing for audience members to meet the panelists and continue with the discussion in a more informal setting.
