Background:
Andy Sharma is a political economist whose area of specialty includes aging, health disparities, later-life migration and quantitative methods. He was the recipient of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Future Faculty Fellowship and Weiss Urban Livability Fellowship, where he completed his Ph.D. Andy is also a former recipient of the Carolina Population Center Fellowship with training grants from the National Institute of Aging and the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development. He holds master degrees in mathematics from Loyola University and economics from DePaul University. Publications:
