Anne McCall

Dean McCall's areas of scholarly expertise include 19th-century French studies, life-writing and narrative fiction. She is past president of the George Sand Association at Hofstra University.
McCall came to DU in 2008 from Tulane University, where she was a faculty member in the department of French and Italian. She was named associate dean in 2005 and also served for five years as director of women's studies at Tulane. Since arriving at DU, McCall has been dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and a professor of French in the languages and literatures department.
