By promoting excellence in the teaching and learning of the world's languages and cultures, the Center for World Languages and Cultures prepares DU students for the global citizenship that is their inheritance as adults of the 21st century.

Our active involvement with local, national and global communities to further linguistic and cultural understanding advances the University's vision to be a great private institution in service of the public good.

Goals

• Enhance the quality and outcomes of language and culture education for all students at the University of Denver.
• Support the teaching and learning of the world's languages and cultures through resources, research, instruction and events.
• Connect DU students with their greater international community—locally, nationally and abroad.
