Testing for IMBA, IIC and Korbel Students
The Center for World Languages and Cultures has implemented new exams for students in the International Masters of Business Administration, International and Intercultural Communication programs and the Korbel School of International Studies - the STAMP4S test. The STAMP4S test is a computer-based assessment that measures reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The scoring system for this test is based off national norms for foreign language proficiency and is widely recognized. The STAMP4S test is available in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
You can view the STAMP4S Benchmarks and Rubric Guide (PDF) and take a STAMP4S practice test to help prepare for the exam. For the winter and spring quarters of 2013, students may opt to take either the Translation and Reading test or the STAMP4S test. Beginning fall, 2013, only the STAMP4S test will be offered for students in these programs.
