Center for World Languages and Cultures
Tutoring
Tutoring and Conversation Groups
The Center for World Languages and Cultures offers peer tutoring for DU students seeking extra help in language courses, practicing conversation in a foreign language or preparing for language proficiency exams. We also offer review sessions for some languages in preparation for finals as well as ad hoc proficiency exam preparation sessions. Tutoring is offered quarterly during weeks 1-10, Monday through Thursday. We do not offer tutoring hours during finals or over the summer, winter or spring breaks. Our current tutoring schedule is below. Tutoring is free to all DU students and is first come, first served, on a drop-in basis. The CWLC currently has tutors in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Please see the CWLC Tutoring Policies and Procedures for details.
Fall 2013 Tutoring Hours
Tutoring will begin again the week of September 9, 2013 for the fall quarter. Please note tutoring hours may change throughout the quarter. Though we do our best to cover all advertised tutoring hours, on occasion a tutor may be absent or unavailable.
If you are looking for tutoring in a language we do not offer, please contact us. We may be able to provide you with a list of outside tutors.
