Directions
In the 2010-2011 academic year, the AHSS community took part in a wide-ranging action planning process: Directions. Our goal was to respect a history that has characterized our University since its founding, recognize the great progress we have made since then and actualize our efforts in the shaping of liberal arts education today. Faculty, staff, students and alumni came together in a variety of formats to consider 1) our identity, 2) our aspirations as a liberal arts academic community and 3) the means through which we can attain our goals.
This booklet outlines the proposals that Directions participants recommended and on which the dean's office is acting.
