With more than 350 students in five degree programs, the University of Denver's Media, Film and Journalism Studies department offers a unique combination of majors that are popular choices among DU undergraduate students. Because almost every academic field of study involves communication, many students choose to combine a communication major with a second in another field.

There are four degree programs and one minor to choose from:

• BA in Film Studies and Production
• BA in Journalism Studies
• BA in Media Studies
• BA in Strategic Communication
• Minor in Film Studies & Production

Through a partnership with the School of Art and Art History, we also offer a BA and BFA in Emergent Digital Practices.
