Transfer Policies

APPLYING TRANSFERRED PSYCHOLOGY CREDITS
The University must approve for DU credit any courses you've taken elsewhere.

For each course you'd like to transfer, you must meet with an adviser and provide information about the class (e.g., university bulletin course description, syllabus, etc.). The information your adviser needs will vary by course.

From there:

  • Check your Academic Progress Report (APR) to see the status of your transfer credits (PDF).
  • At least 50 percent of the required credit hours for the major or minor must be completed at the University of Denver.
  • If you want to apply transfer credits to a specific psychology major or minor requirements at DU, you must receive approval from a department academic adviser.
