The University Undergraduate Requirements (UReqs) extend through all four years of study at the University of Denver. All students, regardless of major area of study, share a common experience by taking courses in both Foundations and the Core Curriculum.
UReqs are divided into two components:
- Foundations (lower division requirements)
- Core (upper division requirements)
Students may enroll in Core courses after completing their foundational requirements or when they have acquired junior standing. These requirements may vary by degree or year of matriculation.
