DU's Department of Anthropology offers:

  • Research active faculty who work with students one-on-one
  • Small classroom sizes
  • Graduate students have their own work spaces
  • A wealth of archaeological and ethnographic collections in its museum

There are three basic options for construction of a master's degree in anthropology: archaeology, cultural anthropology, and museum studies. Each concentration has its own formal course work, independent study, and requirements for graduation.
