Roy V. Wood

Dr. Wood specializes in philosophy of communication, communication ethics, and qualitative research methods. He has recently written about communication ethics in the moments after the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Through the Center for Civic Ethics, which he directs, Roy has explored communication and ethics in the ethics initiative in the city of Denver. He teaches qualitative methods, communication ethics, as well as seminars on ethics and dialogue. Before Roy came to the department he was dean of the School of Communication at Northwestern University and, later, the first Provost of the University of Denver.
