Teju Cole read October 20, 2011. Teju Cole is a writer, art historian, and street photographer. He was born in the US to Nigerian parents, raised in Nigeria, and currently lives in Brooklyn. Cole has been a contributor to Qarrtsiluni, Chimurenga, The New Yorker, Transition, and Tin House. He is currently at work on a book-length non-fiction narrative of Lagos. Teju Cole is the author of Every Day is for the Thief and Open City.
