Please submit the following to the University of Denver Office of Graduate Studies:

1. A completed online University of Denver Application for Graduate Admission. To apply online, select 'Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.' For the major or degree, simply select 'CERT- Graduate Certificate' then 'Certificate.' OR you may request a paper application at the DU Office of Graduate Admission. Contact Jacqueline Sene at 303-871-2856 or gstadm@du.edu.


2. Pay a $60 non-refundable application fee (check, money order or on-line payments accepted).


3. Submit (1) transcript from the school of your highest degree earned

Please submit the following to the Lamont School of Music, Office of Admissions:

1. Completed Lamont Certificate Application using either our fillable form or printing out the PDF version.


2. "Certificate in Jazz" Applicants must submit a pre-screening audition CD or DVD prior to auditioning live.


3. All Certificate applicants in all areas need to schedule and complete your Music Audition.



Additional Items for International Students:

1. Submit TOEFL or IELTS scores. The language score minimums for Lamont are 6 for the IELTS or 550/213/80 (PBT/CBT/iBT) for the TOEFL. Students wishing to be considered for a GTA must score a minimum of 26 on the TOEFL speaking subsection Internet based or a minimum of 50 on the Test of Spoken English. Alternatively a score of 8 on the IELTS is also acceptable.

2. All accepted international applicants must submit documentation for the DS-2019. All 2 year Artist Diploma students are considered on a J-1 Visa. The Financial Verification Form and SEVIS Supplemental Form can be uploaded and attached to your University of Denver online application before submissions. You may also submit this documentation after an admissions decision has been made. Please note that if you decide to wait until a decision is made, it will take longer to prepare the DS-2019. Graduate Admissions to the University of Denver is rolling and therefore, there is no formal deadline for Graduate Applications; however, to be given priority for scholarships and assistantships, your completed application should be submitted by February 27, 2010.
