By January 15, 2013, in addition to the general DU and Lamont graduate application requirements (which include the TOEFL for international students), applicants must:
1) Apply online at https://du-grad.edu.185r.net/application
- Provide a résumé detailing previous conducting experiences
- Submit 3 letters of recommendation from those who have seen the applicant conduct
- Preliminary video recording of the applicant's conducting (no specific requirements)
- A written list of your preferred audition date (if invited for a live audition), and
an alternate date. Choose from February 12, 14, 19, or 21, 2013.
- Conduct the Lamont Wind Ensemble on one of the following pieces of literature:
- La Mezquita de Cordoba by Julie Giroux or
- Les Malheurs de Sophie by Francaix for chamber winds
- Interview with the Director of the Wind Ensemble, Dr. Joseph Martin (on the day of
the audition)
