Central to a world class education in music performance is participation in chamber music. Chamber music provides opportunities for smaller, more intimate performance ensembles such as duets, trios etc... At Lamont, you will have the freedom to explore all possibilities of chamber music and are encouraged to create diverse combination of instrumental and vocal ensembles. All BM and MM majors are required to participate in at least one chamber music ensemble per quarter. Ensembles include but are not limited to strings, brass, woodwind, piano and voice.
