Originally from River Falls, Wisconsin near the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, Chris earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree with elective emphasis in Art and Theatre from the University of Wisconsin/River Falls. After graduation, he played horn professionally and was Director of Publicity with the United States Air Force Academy Band.
Chris spent 15 years with WALT DISNEY WORLD in Entertainment and VIP services – managing the Star Program, hosting and presenting more than 400 celebrities at the Disney MGM Studios.
His first job in Denver was helping the Colorado Avalanche win their first Stanley Cup Championship in 1996 as Director of Game Operations.
Chris most recently spent 14 seasons with the Denver Center Theatre Company as Manager of Publicity and Public Relations and opened the new Lone Tree Arts Center as Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
