Prior to joining the Lamont School of Music, Colby Carson was the Assistant Director of Admissions for Recruitment at The Juilliard School in New York City.  Mr. Carson holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from The Florida State University College of Music, where he began working in Admissions in 2009.   Before returning to FSU, where he also received a Bachelor in Choral Music Education, Colby was a high school chorus teacher in Orlando, Florida.
