      Jurgen de Lemos, a native of Leipzig, Germany, has been a leader in the Denver music community since joining the Denver Symphony Orchestra (later Colorado Symphony Orchestra) in 1968 as Principal Cellist. A summa cum laude graduate in cello and composition from Hochschule fur Musik in Munich, Germany, and Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, France, he has studied with Andr√© Navarra, Pablo Casals, Leonard Rose, Gregor Piatigorsky, and Maurice Eisenberg.

    Carol Tarr

    Carol Tarr is an active teacher and performer in the United States. Currently, she is an adjunct professor of Cello Pedagogy at the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music. She maintains a busy studio in her home in Lakewood, Coloardo. She also teaches students at Beth Eden Baptist School, Lakewood.
