FacultyBack to Faculty: Harp ListingSuzanne Moulton-Gertig, Ph.D.
Biography:Suzanne L. Moulton-Gertig, PhD, professor, teaches in both the conservatory division (Studio Harp and Chamber Music) and academic division (Introduction to Graduate Studies) of Lamont School of Music. In addition, she serves as head of the Bonfils Stanton Music Library. Dr. Moulton-Gertig is principal harpist for the Denver Philharmonic and Evergreen
Chamber Orchestras. She has served as harpist for the Blossom Festival in conjunction
with the Cleveland Orchestra and has been a participant in the Salzedo Harp Colony.
She has served as editor of The American Harp Journal and Ars Musica Denver, and has published peer-reviewed articles and chapters in harp, musicology, and library journals, as well as entries in The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2001) and Women and Music in America since 1900: An Encyclopedia (2003). Most recently, her chapter on music research appeared in the book, Research within the Disciplines: Foundations for Reference and Library Instruction (2007).
