• Background:

  Although he is a native of West Lafayette, Indiana, Dr. Galema chose to pur­sue his college education in Michigan.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal­vin Col­lege in Grand Rapids.  At The University of Michi­gan, while studying under the re­nowned artist-teacher Marilyn Mason, he pur­sued post-graduate work in organ per­formance by completing require­ments for a Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees.
