Master of Music in Pedagogy
The Lamont School of Music offers Masters degrees in Suzuki Pedagogy (violin and cello) as well as a Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy. Suzuki Pedagogy The Master of Music in Suzuki is a performance degree combined with a Suzuki certification.
As a Suzuki cello student, you have the opportunity to study with Suzuki legend Carol Tarr. As a Suzuki violin student, you have the opportunity to study with Suzuki pedagogue in Kathleen Spring. You will also have the opportunity to perform under the baton of Maestro Lawrence Golan in the spectacular Gates Concert Hall. Because studio size is limited, all master's students at Lamont study individually with faculty and enjoy a wealth of performance time.
Piano Pedagogy students have the opportunity explore the deepest realms of intellectual study within the field. Students will study with well known pedagogue David Montano. Metropolitan Denver is an up and coming place for the arts, so opportunities for professional growth abound.
