The Jazz Studies and Commercial Music Program and our faculty of artist/teachers are
dedicated to expanding your creativity while providing the experience and knowledge
necessary to build a career in performing, composing, arranging and recording contemporary
music. As a jazz percussion student, you will have the opportunity to study with one
of the best in the field, Mike Marlier. Metropolitan Denver is an up and coming place for the arts, so opportunities for

Because studios are kept small, all Lamont students study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time under the direction of Malcolm Lynn Baker in one of our three big bands and 12 innovative jazz combos.
