The Artist Diploma program is a highly selective, intensive and focused program of professional studies designed to provide advanced training in the art of musical performance and interpretation, with a minimum of academic requirements, to highly accomplished instrumentalists, vocalists and conductors determined to pursue a solo career.
As a percussion student, you have the opportunity to study with the principal Percussionist of Colorado Symphony Orchestra, John Kinzie. You will also perform under the baton of Maestro Lawrence Golan and Joseph Martin in the spectacular Gates Concert Hall. Metropolitan Denver is an up and coming place for the arts, so opportunities for professional growth abound.
Because studios are kept small, all master's students at Lamont study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time.
