Artist Diploma in Orchestral Studies--Viola

Make Music at Lamont

The Artist Diploma program is a highly selective, intensive and focused program of professional studies designed to provide advanced training in the art of musical performance and interpretation, with a minimum of academic requirements, to highly accomplished instrumentalists and conductors determined to pursue an orchestral career.

As a viola student, you have the opportunity to study the principal violist of the Colorado Symphony, Basil Vendrys. You will also perform under the baton of Maestro Lawrence Golan in the spectacular Gates Concert Hall. Metropolitan Denver is an up and coming place for the arts, so opportunities for professional growth abound.

Because studio size is small, all master's students at Lamont study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about this exciting opportunity of studying music at Lamont.
