The Certificate in Orchestral Studies program is a selective, intense and focused 1 year program of professional studies designed to provide advanced orchestral training, with a minimum of academic requirements, to accomplished instrumentalists determined to pursue an orchestral career. As a violin student, you have the opportunity to study with an extremely accomplished international soloist in Linda Wang, Jerylin Jorgensen and the concertmasteraster of the Colorado Symphony, Yumi-Hwang Williams. You will also perform under the baton of Maestro Lawrence Golan in the spectacular Gates Concert Hall. Metropolitan Denver is an up and coming place for the arts, so opportunities for professional growth abound. Because studios are kept small, all master's students at Lamont study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time.
