The Conservatory Program offers professional training in the performance, composition and pedagogy of Western art music. The emphasis is a hands-on, performance oriented training within a rigorous and innovative academic curriculum. As an organ student, you have the opportunity to study with the acclaimed Joseph Galema, organist for the United States Air Force Academy. You will also have a unique opportunity to perform on a magnificent instrument in the Coors Organ designed by the Schuke Organ Company. Studios are kept small, so all music majors at Lamont study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time.
