The Conservatory Program offers professional training in the performance, composition and pedagogy of Western art music. The emphasis is a hands-on, performance oriented training within a rigorous and innovative academic training. As a trombone/euphonium student, you have the opportunity to study with an accomplished artist in Joseph Martin. You will also perform under the baton of Maestro Lawrence Golan in Gates Concert Hall. Because studios space is limited, all music majors at Lamont study with faculty and enjoy a wealth of performance time.
