The Jazz Studies and Commercial Music Program and our faculty of artist/teachers are dedicated to expanding your creativity while providing the experience and knowledge necessary to build a career in performing, composing, arranging and recording contemporary music. Because studio size is small, all Lamont students study with faculty, and enjoy a wealth of performance time in one of our three big bands under the direction of Malcolm Lynn Baker and 12 innovative jazz combos.
