The Conservatory Program offers professional training in the performance, composition and pedagogy of Western art music. The emphasis is a hands-on, performance oriented training within a rigorous and innovative academic training. As a tuba student, you have the amazing opportunity to study with Kathleen Brantigan, an artist of great stature and executive director of the Denver Brass, and Warren Deck, former principal Tubist of the New York Philharmonic.
You will also perform under the baton of Maestros Lawrence Golan and Joseph Martin in the spectacular Gates Concert Hall. Studios space is limited so students enjoy a wealth of performance time.
