To study Japanese is to encounter a vibrant modern society with a rich and fascinating history. Japan is the land of anime and samurai, but also of much, much more. The Japanese program at the University of Denver is a gateway not only to the rewards of a new spoken and written language, but also to the full experience of an Asian culture, and perhaps to another way of looking at yourself.
