LEVELS: Second-, Third- and Fourth-Year Russian

Welcome to the Russian Language Video Project. This video project is intended for students studying Russian at the University of Denver in their second, third, and fourth year. There are fifteen videoclip units in this project; you will find a complete list of topics and lessons below. Each lesson is a self-contained, and should be completed before turning to a new one. Each unit is organized as follows: the first part of the page contains details of the topic and participants, followed by instructions on how to use the lesson. Below that is the videoclip itself. The clips are encoded in Apple's QuickTime format, and it may be necessary for you to download the QuickTime plug-in before watching the videos. To the right of the video screen is a list of crucial words and phrases. The Russian Video Project lessons are a unique opportunity for DU students of Russian to work with contemporary standard Russian spoken in a number of styles and on topics of current interest. The Russian Language Video Project was made possible through a generous grant from the University of Denver's Center for Teaching and Learning. Feel free to explore!
