Spanish Minor
Requirements for the Minor in Spanish *(for students who entered DU before academic year 2009-10):
A minimum of 24 quarter hours of approved courses above the 1000 level (or equivalent). One course must be at the 3000 level. Up to 12 quarter hours of approved transfer credit may apply.
NOTE: (Although it is not a requirement, it is strongly recommended that students take both culture and civilization classes, SPAN 2300 and SPAN 2350, before registering for the required 3000 level class. Taking both culture and civilization classes will better prepare students for selecting an appropriate 3000 level class, and also will prepare them better for work in 3000 level content courses).
