Students at the University of Denver have a number of opportunities to learn while making a difference in communities around Denver and the world. Faculty in the Department of Languages and Literatures are especially active in coordinating, leading, and promoting service learning opportunities for our students.
Project El Salvador
Led by Zulema Lopez, this program offers the chance to learn about history, politics, and economics first hand in El Salvador. Topics may include:
While there, students will participate in a number of volunteer projects in conjunction with Fundacion Circulo Solidario while earning course credit.
