University of Denver alums James (Jim) Conway (BA '71) and Joseph Pennella (BA '71)
will visit DU in January 2012 as part of the Distinguished Alumni Series. The series
features distinguished professional alums from the Media, Film and Journalism Studies
department and brings them to campus to provide current students with industry-based
knowledge and perspective. Students get a first-hand look at how their degree can
work for them in future employment and also see how past alums have shaped their career.
DU students and fellow alumni are invited to open meeting times with the DAS speakers.
In addition, Conway and Pennella will visit specific classes within the MFJS department
and speak on specific topics. There will be an open meeting time for students, alumni
and faculty on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. in Room 121 of the Mass Communications & Journalism Building.
