The Master of Science in Strategic Communication is a 48-hour, two year degree program for students who want to build their skills or increase their understanding of the latest developments in the field of public relations. Under the philosophy of the Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies, this program synthesizes a strong theoretical background in mass communications, generally, and public relations, specifically, along with the technical computer skills and applied writing and design skills needed to be successful in the public relations environment. No thesis or thesis project is required of this degree program.
