Pi Sigma Alpha is a national political science honor society founded in 1920. The University of Denver established its Pi Sigma Alpha chapter in 1986. The aim of Pi Sigma Alpha is to advance and diffuse the knowledge and interest in political science among university students.
The requirements for membership are 14 hours of Political science credits, a university grade point average of 3.0, and a major grade point average of 3.5. Our members encourage you to apply to Pi Sigma Alpha as it provides valuable information and resources for its members. The Pi Sigma Alpha chapter has hosted guest speakers on various political science topics, including information nights about law school. The chapter has also served as a resource for information about applying to law and graduate school and its newsletters provide information about upcoming events and classes.
The members of Pi Sigma Alpha encourage you to apply for membership as the chapter continues to be active in advancing interest in political science and filling the need for dissemination of information about law school.
