Religious Studies at DU

The Religious Studies program at the University of Denver invites students to explore the phenomenon of religion as well as religious traditions from around the world, with programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. World-class faculty and small class sizes make for a unique learning opportunity.

Our B.A. and M.A. programs help students qualify for doctoral programs, and along with our Joint Ph.D. program help students qualify to teach religious studies courses in colleges and high schools, and bring cultural and cross-cultural analytical tools to careers in business, human resources, social work, government, non-profits, and journalism. Course offerings and faculty appointments reflect the department's commitment to providing a balance of various traditions, methods, and theoretical approaches.
