Who We Are
Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is the liberal arts heart of DU. As a community that is rigorous and connected, we foster new intellectual and creative possibilities. Our faculty and staff engage students in critical examinations of how humans think, learn, communicate and perform, and we maintain collaborative relationships with the people and institutions of the Denver-metro area and the broader national and global society. Students learn varied theoretical perspectives, acquire knowledge, master technical skills, develop creative talents and achieve meaningful insights about the human condition to become prepared for professional success, personal satisfaction and responsible citizenship in the global community.
