Celebrate your history with DU
Made up of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago, the Pioneer Alumni Legends (PALs) group was started in response to an increased interest by older Pioneers to return to campus and share in a renewed sense of excitement for the University of Denver.
An active alumni committee meets regularly to plan quarterly events around academic, cultural and social happenings on campus.

Information and Registration
There’s little glamour to Interstate 70 west of Denver, but a surprising amount of history. In this talk, William Philpott, associate professor of history, will trace how the highway helped trigger the explosion of outdoor recreation in Colorado’s high country in the decades after World War II—and how the promotional schemes, political controversies and environmental changes of those years reveal themselves in the twists and turns of I-70 today.
