“The colors are peaceful. It reminds me of water, it makes me think of something I want to wrap up in.  It has a natural feel to it, like somebody hand-made it.” 

“I was drawn to this because it sort-of reminds me of Japanese, I think it’s called shibori, where they do this kind-of printing on materials, and it reminds me of when I studied abroad in Japan and my host mother who had actually given me something like this.”
