Learn more about the specific support services available to international students.

The Office of International Student and Scholars Services (ISSS) - your "home away from home" - is here to help you have an enjoyable and productive stay at the University of Denver.

ISSS is located at the International House at 2200 South Josephine Street, where you can attend International Student Orientation, get advice regarding visa issues, attend receptions for international diplomats, check your e-mail, get a free lunch on the first Tuesday of every month, help organize international events on campus, and play ping pong, foosball, and Xbox.

The ISSS staff serves the needs of more than 1,000 international students, faculty, staff and researchers at the University of Denver, providing immigration advice, cross-cultural adjustment assistance, advocacy and general support. The English Language Center at 1958 South Josephine Street houses the University of Denver's own intensive English program. The ELC staff can also assist you with cultural adjustments and provide the necessary services to ensure maximum learning and well-being. The ELC's cozy, home-like atmosphere is the perfect first stop for many of DU's international students before they begin their degree programs.
