Each year DU welcomes more than 200 transfer students to our community. A transfer student is someone who has completed any post-secondary work since the September following high school graduation.

Transfer applicants are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis once they complete their application and submit all required transcripts.

We welcome you to apply for admission to the University of Denver using either the Pioneer Application or the Common Application. To learn more about the academic factors considered in our admission process, please review our standards for admission.

Deadlines for Transfer Applicants

Application and all supporting materials must be completed/received by the dates below.

• Fall Quarter: July 15
• Winter Quarter: November 15 
• Spring Quarter: February 1 (limited space) 
• Summer Quarter: May 1

Attention International Students: We are no longer accepting applications for "English Conditional Admission" for the Fall Quarter, 2012. Students who have already met our English proficiency requirements may still apply and will be admitted on a space-available basis. We will begin accepting applications for Fall 2013 in early August, 2012.
