University of Denver Group visits

College Access & Group Visits

We are delighted you are interested in visiting the University of Denver!

Group visits with the office of Undergraduate Admission are for high schools, community colleges, educational organizations and groups of 10-50 people.

Our group visit options will provide groups an early outreach program to engage in a proactive and culturally relevant college planning dialogue. A typical group visit may include one or more of the following: Information Session and/or Planning for College Presentation, campus tour, self-guided tour or scavenger hunt, and/or additional activities. 

 Before you register, here's what you need to know:

 

  • Group visits are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Limit of 50 students
  • Reservations are required for group visits and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance - space is limited!
  • One guest-sponsored adult chaperone per ten student is required.

High School or Transfer/International Groups

9th - 12th Information Session & Tour
The University of Denver offers group visits for high school groups of 10-50 people. The visit consist of a one-hour information session led by an admission representative followed by a one hour student led campus tour (based on availability).

Excluding the following times: University holidays; midterm exam periods; final exam periods. Limited availability during the months of March and April. Specific tour times may vary by date/availability.

Program Schedule

  • 10:30am - Information Session 
  • 11:30am - Campus Tour or Self-Guided Tour
  • 12:30pm - Visit Concludes

 

9th - 12th Self-Guided Tour
If your group is unable to come to one of our scheduled tours, or if we are for some reason unable to accommodate your group you can submit a request for a self-guided tour. When you submit your request, we will provide both student worksheets and chaperone answer sheets. The self-guided tour of campus lasts approximately 90 minutes. 

Elementary/Middle School Groups

Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt

This is an interactive opportunity to learn about college and have a chance to explore the DU campus. We will provide both student and chaperone answer sheets. The self-guided tour of campus lasts approximately 90 minutes.
