Fall 2010 Study Abroad Opportunity
EXCAVATING AND EXPLORING ITALY!!
SAAH students are encouraged to study abroad for at least one semester and DU makes this easy through the Cherrington Program. Four independent art schools are part of this program: Burren College of Art in Ireland, Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, American University in Southern France, and Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy. Each has different strength and students should choose a school in consultation with Cherrington Art advisor Deborah Howard. Note that the only Cherrington program offering instruction in art conservation is SACI. eMAD majors should consult their regular eMAD advisor as well as Deborah Howard in choosing a school with appropriate major offerings. Many other Cherrington schools offer art and art history classes that may be appropriate for our majors. Please consult your advisor, the Cherrington advisor and/or Dr. Stott for advice and pre-approval of courses for major, minor or elective credit.
