The Visual Media Center, formerly the Slide Library, provides images to faculty and students for the purposes of teaching, learning, and research. In addition to its 130,000 analog slides, it has built a repository of over 25,000 digital images for faculty use. The staff and faculty of the School of Art and Art History have worked with the Center for Teaching and Learning to build the DU Visual Art Gallery Application (DUVAGA) to manage the digital collection and provide students and faculty with access to various forms of digital media, including images, video, and audio files. The Visual Media Center also maintains two smart classrooms customized for dual projection of VAGA material.
