Core Art and Media Program
(art foundations)

The mission of the Core Art and Media Program is to introduce the major elements and principles of art making practice while strengthening students’ acuity for visual understanding and creation.  It forms the ‘foundation’ for art, eMAD, and pre-art conservation majors, and is an excellent starting point for the general DU student who wants to take a few art classes.  There are no pre-requisites for these classes, with the exception of ARTS 1300 Concepts, which requires that ARTS 1100 and 1200 have been taken first.
