Amanda Genter joined the University of Denver in October of 2009. She is part of a team with responsibility for developing, monitoring, and deploying operating budgets for University Advancement and Alumni Relations, while ensuring division compliance with University policies and procedures. She also works with colleagues to determine short- and long-term planning strategies and allocation of resources and serves as an effective liaison to many of the University's central administrative units.
Before joining the University of Denver, Amanda served as Assistant Bursar at Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has also held positions at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts. At Cambridge College, Amanda was instrumental in developing processes for accounts receivable documentation in regard to student fees. It's this dedication to doing the research and finding solutions to problems that makes Amanda a key member of the Budget and Operations team.
A native of Denver, Amanda received her B.A. from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She is married to Mark, and they have one son, Martin, who should be ready to join the University of Denver freshman class in 2030.>
