Austin Corder
Assistant Director of Development
University Advancement

Austin Corder joined the advancement team at the University of Denver in November 2010 as an Assistant Director of Development. In his time with DU, Austin has been part of the University’s effort to reconnect the University with alumni across the country and building on those relationships.

Born and raised in Houston, TX, Austin attended the University of Missouri where he pursued a degree in journalism. After transferring to the west coast, Austin earned his degree from the University of San Diego, and began making his way in the print journalism industry while writing for the Houston Chronicle, Austin Statesman, and the San Antonio Express-News, as well as the Amarillo Globe-News.

Following three years in the Texas Panhandle, Austin left North Texas to enter the non-profit sector and began working at the University of Denver as part of a team dedicated to the Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Knoebel Center for the Study of Aging. Austin is now part of University Advancement’s regional team, working the Heartland Region to reconnect with alumni and grow the DU brand.
